The Parish Mission

“To restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ by providing a safe, loving, and inclusive environment, celebrating community diversity, and sharing God’s gifts with all people.”
St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church is a growing, medium-sized church serving the "southern crescent" of the Atlanta metropolitan area. We are a part of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, the Episcopal Church of the United States of America and the worldwide Anglican Communion. Members and visitors primarily come from the surrounding communities of Morrow, Forest Park, Jonesboro, Riverdale, Stockbridge, Rex, Ellenwood and College Park. The congregation reflects and celebrates the rich diversity of the communities we serve. St. Augustine's is one of only two Episcopal churches in Clayton County and anticipates continued growth and opportunity for worship and service as an Anglican parish.

We are also committed to serving the growing Hispanic community surrounding our parish.
